The Thirugnanasambandar Gnanapal incident, the precursor to the Angampoompavai incident is an important ritual you should look out for tomorrow.
Tomorrow morning, just as Lord Kapaleeswarar on Adikara Nandi, and Goddess Karpagambal reach South Mada Street, they will stop opposite Aishwarya Stores, where a small pooja will be held.
The Goddess and Thiruganasambandar will be taken to the platform at the temple tank where the Gnanapal incident will be enacted, in the presence of songs by the Oduvar.
An important ritual follows. Devotees, after offering boiled milk to the Goddess as naivedyam, will distribute the same to the bhaktas gathered there.
Large quantities of milk in huge utensils will be also distributed at Vanniyar Chatiram too.
